Game Rules have been Updated

We have updated the official Game Rules to make them clearer and more unambiguous for all users. These changes aim to ensure a better, more respectful experience for the entire community.

In addition, we've introduced a new section in the Game Help: Help and Support
This guide explains where and how to seek help, and how to report other issues effectively. Administration can dedicate only very limited time to support, therefore we encourage all users to follow the outlined steps carefully in order to ensure timely and appropriate assistance.

The updated Game Rules can be found here: Rules
The previous version is also available for comparison: Old Rules

Key updates include:
- Respectful communication is strictly required across all areas of the game.
- Public announcements or discussions about received sanctions are strictly prohibited.
- Moderation actions may be carried out by both community volunteers and the administration.
- Some rules have been reworded for clarity, without changing their original meaning.

Please note: All users are required to follow the updated rules. If you cannot agree to them, you must close your account and stop playing the game. Continued use of the game signifies your acceptance of the updated rules.

Thank you for being a part of the BasketPulse community and helping us keep the game fair and enjoyable for everyone.

It is always good to see rules and etiquette updated. Hopefully a way can be found to ensure they are enforced equally. -- 104 S 44 d.

Last few seasons you already had to select words what you write in press conferences very carefully. There is no freedom of speech already left here, so I suggest to remove press conferences completely or make it paid function. Its not used much, for example, from thousands of games generated already this season throughout all the leagues, only 21 total was commented. For trades you can just mark a players you want to trade. A bunch of current press conferences is hidden anyway, so that would save some time and maybe more time would be left for updates. -- 104 S 44 d.

I have a question about this part: "Public announcements or discussions about received sanctions are strictly prohibited." I understand that this means I’m not allowed to speak about sanctions I’ve personally received.Yet, am I also prohibited from discussing sanctions received by others, if I know they’ve been sanctioned?
My main question is about the reasoning behind this rule. What problem is it intended to solve? Is it designed to protect the FPC from external pressure, or is there another purpose? I’m asking because I’m struggling to understand how a lack of openness and transparency is supposed to build confidence in the FPC. This approach seems to run counter to common best practices among respected companies and institutions, where transparency is often emphasized as a foundation for maintaining trust.
Thanks!
