We have recently made changes related to the game time selection. These changes will provide more flexibility for the whole community to watch games live at a convenient time.

We have had quite a few questions raised by the community about these changes and we would like to address them.

Key Changes

Home Game Time Alteration: Teams with Premium package now have the option to choose their preferred time for home games, which will be used when adding new matches to the schedule. However, it is not possible to change the game time once it is already scheduled. This will enable teams to better plan their activities and accommodate other commitments [DONE].
Premium Team Matches: When a team with a Premium package faces a team without it, efforts will be made to adjust the game time according to the team with the Premium package (even in the away games), if it falls within the federation's designated time interval [DONE].
Game Time Interval: Home games can now start between 3:00 and 21:00 hours. This time interval has been chosen to align with the schedules of most users, ensuring that the games take place at a convenient time [DONE].
Injury Notifications: A change has been made to the timing of injury notifications. From now on, injury reports will be announced at 22:30, following the end of the latest matches [DONE]
Daily MVP and Top 5 Awards: A new time is being introduced for selecting the Day's Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the Top 5 players. These awards will be announced after the end of the latest matches (22:30), providing an opportunity to recognize outstanding performances of all games [DONE].
Youth League: The schedule will be made 3 days in advance instead of 1 to ensure it is easier to track the game times and get ready for them [DONE].
National Team Matches: National team tournament matches will take place at the end of the tournament hosting country federation's designated time interval [IN PROGRESS]
Schedule Display Enhancements: With this new change, it will be easier to view day's matches in the league view. Specific times will be displayed, and matches will be organized by time [IN PROGRESS]

All these changes represent a step forward in enhancing the experience for our community. They offer more flexibility and organization, ensuring that everyone can fully indulge in the joy of managing their basketball team.

All teams would have a convenient play time if games were played at ~9-10 in South America, which is the same for 15-16h in Europe and 20-21h in Asia. Thank you for the suggestion. However, it won’t make everyone happy and we are already significantly over budget for this update. Therefore, we do not plan to increase its scope anymore.

You (as always) have a different opinion, that’s OK. Basically with each update I expect that a few users (usually the same) will write something negative.

We are reading feedback from the community. You can see in the article that more changes are coming based on feedback. But at the same time we cannot do EVERYTHING our customers want. Sometimes your ideas are just too expensive to implement. -- 94 S 48 d.

Btw, from what I remember this change was not one of the option when you asked community, either in the workplan for this season, why has this been prioritized over coaches or othe announced changed and implemented in the middle of the season without even waiting? -- 94 S 49 d.

1. I think that "Home Game Time Alteration" feature may be appreciated by users from Asia, North and South America, Australia - those, whose matches started early in the morning or late at night (local time). For users from Europe that seems to be an "anti-feature";)
2. Now there's total mess with league schedules - "Schedule Display Enhancements" is a must, but it has the lowest priority in the changes list. Browsing dozens of pages to see when other teams' matches start and when match results will be known is "not very convenient".
3. Moreover seems that "Home Game Time Alteration" was implemented in a hurry because it affected some other game features - Daily MVP and Top 5 Awards, for example - and led to bugs. One more week to analyze the consequences and fix some stuff affected by new feature - and maybe attitude to changes regarding home game time selection would be better (at least - in comments here). -- 94 S 49 d.
