However we cannot simply move the teams to new world leagues earlier, because of the financial operations. Teams would get more(or less) from sponsors in the last week and that would create even more problems.-- 11-29
So in the scenario I am in, where I will finish 23 or 24, I get no consideration that I promoted only this season, and barely stayed in the league. Now here comes 6 new teams from where I did and they will get at least 13th pick? Where will my pick be? If no consideration is given then the system is already flawed.-- 11-30
->TheWizardKs, the system is already flawed because there is no system on how this game develops, every decision made by admin is because he wanted to, it not about what is good for game , or even logical to do, it's about what he does want. If given advice there's ALWAYS excuse why he can't do it, but when he want to do it is all good, and fair. if you want to play this game without a headache just deal with it.
By the way this update took about a year, and in the mean time they could made game engine far better, made more tactics, made decent requirements for skill levels, like 12 to 13 would took 1000 points , 13 to 14 took 1200 not 2k , so more people would reach for those levels. what the point of new players, while the old players suck already and there's no variety in the game? :)-- 11-30
WTF are these playees in WL5 and WL4??? No one has future or could be useful... While in WL1/WL2/WL3 there are so many players that can be picked in lower divisions there aren't good players. Distance between big teams and small teams will increase... ABSOLUTELY DISLIKE!-- 11-30
Well in wl1 i also do not see any player based on skill set that would be helpful to survive 8-9 athleticism is not ok at all. Also heights are not usefull, although i could justify that at least. Also price for analysis should be lower for draft players not to be the same as for opponents teams players-- 11-30
Relax. It's the first draft and will still be tweaked going forward. Main way is to keep scouting anyway for your dream player, this is just to add someone every now and then, not necessarily every season even.-- 11-30
As I understood the main goal of drafts were to improve chances of promoting clubs to get better players and to stay in the league.
Checked few leagues and I do not understand how players were distributed:
1.1WL has 4 players over 300RT
2.1 has 6 players over 300RT
2.2 has 7 players over 300RT
I do not want to fall into considerations that skill set is not proper for these leagues, but how promoting clubs to WL1 will get that help if there is no variety of player choices?-- 11-30

There is nothing wrong about the difference between divisions. When you are the best in your current level, you go up and fight in higher division.
Drafts is about helping teams to fight in their current league (not few levels above).
If we created drafts’ players too good - it will create inflation and soon even currently good players will become too bad.

"Ready to play" players are generated by random. It has happened this time that there are no "Ready to play" players in TOP8 of WL1. Such chances are pretty low and in the future drafts there will be more high RT low potential ("Ready to play") players.-- 11-30

players in draft: 16 Chinese, 10 lithuanians, 2 argentinians, 2 germans, 1 american, 1 slovenian, 1 maltese.

Ramune, but there are several ready to play players in wl1 but all of them have useless skill set, so i believe it will happen in future. Also what about cost of scouting. This is way too big now. I propose to have 3 free scoutings for each team per season and 400 price for additional.-- 11-30

After 2 seasons Team A cant re sign n3 draft
Now Team B push 35000 o 40000 for n3 draft and team A cant offer 35000 o 40000 for n3 draft
Now team B have n3 drafted for team A

benis the nationality discount is a joke that favors only large communities, it should be done away with all together. It puts small communities at a disadvantage in the marketplace, compound that with fewer scouts because of the draft system and you are effectively driving these communities out of the game. Why not instead have a discount for the team the player played on last season and forego the nationality discount altogether.-- 11-30
I was against drafts system, but now I'm interested. Also, I like this position that drafts sistem will have adjustments in next seasons.
That's some problems which I see:
1. 18 of 33 players are guards (they are or will be less than 195 cm height) in 1st WL drafts. I think: It must be less than 10.
2. 7 of 18 small players are play making type. Small players without perfect dribbling and/or passing skills are not playing in real world, in basketpulse also. So the other 11 players are only trash.
I think: At least 70 percent of Guard type play should be play making type.
3. I see 4 players who probably cold be pretenders to national teams: 3 Chinese, 1 German. I could predict that 1 WL teams will averagely scout 0,33 8-10 player within a season. If my prediction is real, then Chinese national teams will get similar amount of free talents like Lithuanian national teams gets from scouting.
I think: Drafts players could be without names and nationalities. After pick they will get their draft teams nationality.
4. Ready to play players are not ready to play. 340 RT player's maximum skill is 10. He has awesome exp. That's a reason why he could be good enough to play in 3rd WL. That's how I am talking about one of the best drafts players right now in 1st WL.
There is one interesting player who probably could play for a few trash minutes in weak team. He is pg who has normal offence, some defence, jump skills, but his speed is 8. 1 pot, he won't reach at least 10.
I think: there shouldn't be superpowerfull players, but ready to play players should be able to play in their WL.-- 11-30

Right now our first goal is to finish the Drafts system, there still are some details that have to be finished.
In the first half of the next season we plan to analyse how teams used Drafts and prospects. There will definitely be some balancing changes!
However, players’ nationalities probably won't be changed. They are created regarding the number of teams from each country in each league (the more teams from this country, the bigger chances for this country’s players to be created. As well, there are small chances for any country’s player to be created). At least in the nearest seasons we do not plan to change it. We want to keep the possibility even from very small countries to find a TOP level talent.
At some point we definitely need to review the market and its bonuses. Native country bonus is created to help small countries (it is a bit easier to extend contracts, because of smaller competition). But if that is not required anymore - it can definitely be reviewed and updated.-- 11-30
I don't like the combination of automatic 2year contract and no "scout" privilegia of drafted player. 2years contract would ve OK with the possibility of prolonging contract like with player from scouts.-- 11-30

I think I can already answer - every smart player will boycott this joke-draft. I have checked draft players lists of 4 leagues and there is not a single player worth signing. So it's huge tendency that there is not a single player worth signing in other leagues too.
And this comes out when Darius was talking that promoting teams will get TOP13 pick which will strenghten team chance to stay in higher league.

Some controls suggestion:
Would it be possible with this games design to have a "drag and drop" style for moving player in list instead of arrows "up-down"?
Also maybe would be better that all picks would be in position "off" so instead of clicking over 30 times we could click once or twice for players we want?
What happens to drafted player if team goes inactive after draft? Retires or stays alive? I might missed that info but if they go to market afterwards that might cause issues in future :)-- 11-30
