Reduced turnovers would solve so much. Teams would take more shots, scoring would be higher, and there would be more missed shots, so rebounds would be higher. Hopefully, this will work. If it does, great changes! -- 90 S 24 d.

I want to bring up a topic for defense
Reducing unrealistic turnovers is good, but on top of this, we may need to think about how defense can impact the game in a realistic way

I would take these 2 players as example:
Palacio - defense 10
https://www.basketpulse.com/tw/Player/2267929/statistics
Rimma - defense 6
https://www.basketpulse.com/tw/Player/2174283/statistics

Here are some detailed stats when they are in the team VEF Rīga:
Palacio (16 games)
39 steals
opponent 3pt accuracy - 18/44 (40%), excluding -5 skill ratio shots
opponent shooting situation - excellent 19 times (19%) - good 18 times (18%) - average 25 times (25%)

Rimma (24 games)
18 steals
opponent 3pt accuracy - 24/67 (35%), excluding -5 skill ratio shots
opponent shooting situation - excellent 7 times (5%) - good 29 times (22%) - average 60 times (45%)

With the nerf to the number of steals, I can foresee that players with higher defense skill do not bring too much to the games
I understand adding random element to the game is good, as it's boring to see teams with better players always win. But having a sweet spot of luck-skill balance is also important IMO, and I believe we still need further investigation on this
