As many of you noticed, the Discord server is not available.
The Discord server was created and managed by one of the community members – HeyHoudini. In the past few seasons, the relationship between the administration and HeyHoudini went in the wrong direction.
It seems that the server administration decided to remove all members from the server. This was done without any communication or suggestions on how we could avoid it. Theoretically, all information is still there, but no one can access it.
What’s next:
Our priorities remain the same – our top priority is updates in finances (national leagues, short playoff series). After that, we plan to stop other updates and focus on creating a new official Discord server.
We’ll let you know once that’s done.

There were many other ways he could have handled things without causing harm.
That’s where we have to draw the line. No more tolerance for lies. No more space for trolling. Let’s shift our focus back to improving the game and supporting the people who genuinely want to enjoy and contribute to it—not those looking to stir up trouble just to prove a point. -- 104 S 14 d.

Pritarčiau, kad yra iš jo juntamas perteklinis erzelio kėlimas, kuris gal jau ir kiek pabodęs, bet kas kaltas dėl tokios situacijos susidarymo, tai tik pats Tu. Kol pats nenorėsi pasikeisti, tol niekas ir nesikeis ir bent, mano nuomone, žaidimas neis į priekį. Jau kelis kartus bandžiau patarti ir padėti - t.y. perteikti problemines vietas, daviau pasiūlymus, ką galima padaryti, bet rodyti iniciatyvą ir daryti, tai turi pats. O įsiskaityti ir pasidaryti išvadas, atrodo, nelabai įdomu.
Viską bandai gauti kažkokiu tai cheap būdu. Anksčiau federacijos gaudavo pastovias įplaukas - daryti smagias iniciatyvas, didinti įtraukimą. Tada nukirsta - duodama tik už kažkokį atliktą darbelį - iš pradžių atrodė absurdiškai kai net ir už AI rašliavėles kapsėdavo kreditai. Tada šitas nukirsta - galima gauti kreditų, tik jei pritrauki naujų vartotojų - tai praktiškai užsidirbti per aktyvumą nebeįmanoma. Tai dingsta didelė dalis federacijos kaip tokios tikslo ir galimybių. Tai atrodo absurdiškai, nes padalinti viduje vieną kitą kreditą nieko nekainuoja.
Aš emociškai jau atsiribojau nuo viso šito, bet už tą atliktą mainų analizę gavau tik įspėjimą už blogą elgesį, bereikalingą trukdymą ir triukšmo kėlimą. O sukrutinimas veikloje tikrai įvyko, bet tuo pačiu gavau pats per snapą, buvau kaltas dėl jų pačių apkiautimo - pyktis ant manęs tikrai buvo perteklinis, parašyti faktai apie mane neteisingi, o Tau nusišvilpt, kad puolami seni useriai. Situaciją aprašiau, reakcijos jokios. Tiesiog tikiesi, kad čia niekas tavęs netrukdys ir viską gausi veltui. Pats duoti nenori. Kad ir už tą reitingą nenumesti kelių kreditų - čia tragikomedija. Ir dar parašyti, kad jei gausiu iš žaidimo kreditų, tai bus negerai žaidimui, nes tada mažiau bepirksiu pats. Absurdas. Tas tūkstantėlis yra labiau gestas, įtraukimo ir pozityvumo kūrimas - juk sumąstysiu iš lempos paskautinti vieną kitą žaidėją ir to tūkstantėlio nebėra. O dabar, kai taip parašyta, tai taupysiu ir neleisiu, o rezultate gausite mažiau.
Toks elgesys tiesiog mažina įsitraukimą, tuo pačiu ir kreditų leidimą, vadinasi paskatinimų nebuvimas tikrai ne į naudą, o tai Jums net nieko nekainuoja!
Užpraėjusį sezoną houdini buvo kaltas, kad nėjo progresuoti su dideliais žaidimo update'ais. Paskutinis sezonas, ypač antra jo pusė buvo tikrai rami erzelio prasme, t.y. bent 1,5 mėnesio , bet jokio didesnio progreso su didesniais updetais nėra, išskyrus kelis neblogus, bet tikrai smulkesnius darbų prasme pakeitimus.
Blogiausia, kad perskaitęs šitą rašliavą turbūt pagalvosi sau, kad "su kuo tikrai sutinku, tai su pirmu sakiniu, kad erzelio buvo kelta per daug", o į likusią dalį kaip visada numosi ranka.

The main problem here is how in the world you don't own the official Discord server of your game. If it was HeyHoudini who created it, you should've asked him politely to give the property of the server to you in order to make it official, and make him the main moderator but with no powers to destroy it, to avoid this or any other situation where he could've left the game in an unexpected way and let the server without a proper ownership.

It seems reasonable to assume a certain level of maturity, though. I'm not in the know about what happened behind the scenes but if Houdini wanted to close the server, I think it's reasonable to not inconvenience all the players of the game who had nothing to do with the situation. That just sounds like unnecessary childishness to me. Especially if the rumor of 10k credits to still get access is true. One can disagree and still act like a reasonable adult without explicitly being told to. Either way, I hope the new discord server (or whatever replaces it) will be up soon and no more drama will affect it.

Hey all, new to BasketPulse and just getting a feel for everything, but I wanted to chime in after reading through the whole situation.
From the outside looking in, it’s a bit of an oversight that the main community Discord could just be taken down by one person. Whether it was done out of frustration or to prove a point, it was a childish move that ended up hurting the entire community, not just the admins. There are better ways to express dissatisfaction than nuking the space everyone relied on.
That said, I’m here now and looking to get involved. If help is needed with building the new Discord or getting fresh energy into the community, I’m more than down to contribute. This seems like a cool game with a passionate base; no reason why the community tools shouldn’t reflect that.
Let’s move on and make sure this kind of drama doesn’t slow things down again. -- 104 S 19 d.
