With 3 (basically) confirmed closed teams. U.S. 1.1 will look a lot different next season. Although from how it looks rn, there probably won't be that many new faces coming in, as a lot of the teams suspected to get an invitation have been in U.S. 1.1 before(with either their current or past team). BUT depending on how the system works, there's a slight chance we might see The swear-words make their first appearance.

You gotta love it, up by 9 in the 4th quarter with 2 minutes to go and my team turns it over 3 straight possessions to let the other team in. 16 secs left I go up 3 and tactical foul. Up 1 with 7 seconds and I am fouled. My guy goes 1/2 so it puts me up by 2 and he shoots a 3 to win the game.
Its really nice that my offense and defense are considerably better than my opponents yet he magically has the same number of turnovers as me. His offensive avg 7.5 and defensive avg 7.4 and mine are 8.4 and 8.4 but our turnovers are the same because of something as stupid as experience. We could go on and talk about how I was leading in ranking as well but whats the point.....

In my game the tactical foul never happened!! I was 3 up, and it took 12 secs for the foul and this was made on the opponents 3 point shot!!! 4 point play and goodbye victory :)

Bloomis, but that's the point of setting tactics. He made those shots from wide open situations, so it is quite logical, though I agree that it really sucks when well trained players don't seem to help.

Been there, done that so much I consider quitting more than staying. But it is explained in the forums. Look for posts by me, Frankebasta, and at least 1 other I forget. The results are made based on RT, then the play by play is generated to match. Hence, the weird stats.

superdzonis I agree being "wide open" should improve shots but it should be countered by the skill of the defender on how "wide open" they are. Otherwise what stops a WL4 team from consistently beating a WL1 team if it is dominated by tactics alone. Especially in something as neutral defensively as a 3-2 zone and against well trained athletic and high defensive players he shouldn't be able to get into wide open situations...

Why do you compare yourself to WL1 team here? The opponent has an average RT which is higher than yours by 30. I agree that it is not the key parameter, but the difference is, anyway, HUGE, as one famous person says. And he has a bunch of old guys which kind of proposes that he has a lot more experienced team than yours. Experience, is one of the main factors behind wide open shots at least as I see it.

I was simply saying that it should be an equal balance between tactics and skill of opponent otherwise there is no reason a WL 1 team with appropriate tactics could lose to a WL 4 team it was an exaggeration.

And also, I think we overvalue the skill ratio as it only includes athleticism, shooting and shot def. But offensive skills, XP, Def IQ governs how players are able to recognise opportunities for open shots and create good scoring chances. For example, http://www.bballzone.net/lt/Rungtynes-chronologija-9572672.htm throughout the game I took only 6 shots with skills ratio above 0, but lost only by 4 points in away game. I think tactics added up with skills not depicted in skills ratio and it led to quite a good game.

No, it shouldn't be connected. If you are DeAndre Jordan, it doesn't mean that your opponents will not take open shots. Shot def and athl I would say, don't have much correlation to how the team is creating shot opportunities.

sure it does, the defenders ability to close out and contest the shot is purely based on his defensive awareness (Defense skill) and his ability to get to the shooter (athleticism). This becomes increasingly more important if the defensive set is a zone

I think it was the game after that, look at the fourth quarter.he was still trying to fix his teams flaws after this (not enough offensive oriented players). He was also discussing the 21u team. One big reason probably more than any was that he was getting married next month and was busy preparing for that is what he messaged me.
