Sveiki, turiu klausimą administracijai ir žaidėjams, kurie skautina trenerius. Pavyko mano skautui su finansavimu rast treniravimo trenerį su 9 potencialu, 60 VK, 30 metų. Apsidžiaugiau ir pasirašiau sutartį, pasirodė, kad nori algos vienam sezonui ~3700€. Nueinu pažiūrėt jo įgūdžių, paeinu žemiau prie sutarties, o ten atlyginimas ne 3700, o 37.000 eurų. Nuėjau pažiūrėt ką kitiems kolegoms pavyko šiandien paskautint. Treneris su 10 potencialu, 70 VK ir 34 metų pasiprašė kontrakto už 7500€.
Prašau paaiškinkit kas čia įvyko! Kodėl užsiprašė tokios kosminės sumos? Manau, kad čia kažkokia klaida įsivėlė ir prašyčiau pataisyti. Toks bajeris nuvarys komandą į bankrotą :/
Nes nelabai kam rūpi, kad rinka iškraipyta kvailais pasiūlymais tų, kas investuoja į žaidimą ir siūlydavo panašaus amžiaus treneriams 50k+ algas. Todėl ir turi dabar 37k algą.

Geras, tai sugalvojau painvestuot į skautus ir pasidaryt jaunimo komandą, tai dabar teks sukt galvą kaip nebankrutuot dėl sistemos. Bet tai nepaaiškinai kaip 4 metais vyresnis treneris su didesniu vk ir potencialu pasirašo sutartį už 7500...
Išankstinis pratęsimas gal ir išgelbėtų? Kas turi su juo daugiau patirties? Įmano sumažint atlyginimą per ten ar ten tik daugiau užsiprašo visada?

Changes in match engine: adjust coaches’ influence so that it depends on the actual difference between coaches’ skills, not only on the fact that one is better at some skill. Coaches’ influence in matches is quite big, therefore we plan to include changes gradually in the upcoming 5 seasons. -> have you already started doing this, or are you just planning for the next 5 seasons? When we should feel those adjustments?

I believe many users know the situation, but I will try to explain again.
I am really struggling with the Mach engine update in recent seasons. This is an area I cannot simply hand over to our freelance developer. It also can't be updated in a quick hour after work; even small updates require time to ensure there are no unwanted negative effects.
If I can't find a few full days to work on it during the season, unfortunately, all related updates are postponed to the next season. Finding these full, uninterrupted days is difficult since I have three small kids, another full-time job, and many smaller issues to manage on BasketPulse.
Hi, one question, are you going to fix National league incomes? In Spain is much better to stay in National League 2 that move to 1st división. Or we have more incomes in matches or prizes for the 12 teams at the end, we had matches 40-30 in the last match trying to avaoid move to 1st división, and this was happening many season ago

We don’t have such plans, at least for the current season. If the community believes this should be our top priority, I suggest highlighting it in the feedback we request from federations each season.
From my perspective, the entire national tournament system needs to be thoroughly reviewed. I don't think giving money to the last-place teams would solve the problem.
The prize money would still be lower than the top prizes in the lower division, and we’d continue to face the same issues. We need bigger changes to improve this area, and I don't believe now is the right time to invest our efforts here.

We had a great increase in the user-base in Brazil because we managed to bring a few users from another online game and they became active in our whatsapp group. I think we growth more than 100% in one season (5 user to 11)

Ei lietuviai, kaip mums pasiekti tą apie 40% užaugintą naujų vartotojų kiekį? Pas mumis kai apie 400 vartotojų, tai reikia 160 naujų.. Diskriminacija prieš mumis, nes mes tokių skaičių nepasieksim dėl savo dydžio. Svarbu administracijai linksma, jog taisyklių nesilaiko ir bonusus gauna.
Sistema kaip ir variklis. Veikia kaip nori, bet kad blogai tai nesvarbu.

Reik didint galimybes klubams užsidirbti papildomų pinigų. Lengviausias būdas - žaidėjų pardavimas. Bet žinom dariaus norą daryti kitaip nei visi. Vadinasi reiktų svarstyti alternatyvas. Pavyzdžiui fanų klubas sumokėtų už abonementus sezono pradžioje. Arba keisti dabartinę bilietų pardavimo sistemą, suteikti galimybę klubams nusistatyti norimas bilietų kainas. Arba bandyti įvesti kokius nors atributikos pardavimo savaitinius bonusus, kurie būtų surišti su klubo įvaizdžiu bei fanų pasitenkinimu dėl laimėtų/pralaimėtų rungtynių.

We understand this is a hobby project and that you have a life to live besides Basket Pulse. What we don't understand is, why there are plans for adding individual skills when there are more pressing issues to take care of. Some of which the community has been asking for several seasons:
- making dribbling important for PG/SG/SF
- extinction of the traditional PG - everyone just seem so be playing SGs on PG position
- template teams that only shoot threes an 2C
- salaries of players in their primes are too high, the marketplace is full of great players aged 28-32 that nobody signs
These are just some of the issues, I'm sure each manager has something to add. I hope you can find time to fix some ot those and not spend time adding new features in the meantime.

Is dribbling useless or is just nobody training it? There are no official big changes to the engine but there seem to be many chances of the best build in last seasons. I think we need more tests to see how dribbling works I can say that it helps if you have a leader player with dribbling.
Traditional PG works fine it is just a meta thing that you want to see stats and numbers on a player the thing is that traditional pg sucks at ranking but usually gets good +/- and they are seen as a risk because if they can't shoot then opponents can double defence.
I was doing some testing building team with mainly 2m shooters in youth my last season and it did underperform based on rt but I can see that there are positions, tactics and skill combinations where 2m works better than 2c or 3p. So 2c and 3p teams are just manager things, not the admin's fault.
All issues that are mentioned above aren't easy to fix and could change the balance of the game and create multiple new issues, meanwhile, new features are separated from important parts of the game.

Dribbling is useless. I have a few players with 12/13 and the effect just isn't there. Not in the sense of fewer TOs or better shot positions. I was training it as a differential advantage. Also in my experience, comparing players with identical supporting skills and the same skill in 2M or 3P perform different in the sense that the player skill ratio for midrangers is lower than for 3-point shooters. Tis is not tested, just my observation.

in my observation dribbling helps with fast breaks and yes it doesn't give you a better shot position but it gives you a better shot % and also generates more fouls. I agree that shooting 2m is harder than 2m but it kinda balances the game because there is nothing scarier a player that can shoot from 2c or 3p and have decent 2m, there is literally no way to stop him because even if you focus all defence on him he will kill you from line. I also got the feeling that it is easier to shoot 2m on a comparable % to 3p from pg and pf , based on that I have a theory that tgh is more important with 2m which is why 2m shooters suck. There is no question that 2m works differently from 3p i 2c but the advantage with free throws is huge.

Driblingas veikia? Lol. Seniau jis tikrai veikė kai prastas driblingas susidūręs su gera gynyba priversdavo daryti po 8 ar 10 klaidų. Dabar jis nemaišo. Bet jei turi gynėją su minusais ant puolimo, bet pliusais taiklumo, turi būti visiškai prastas treneris jei treniruotum puolimą daugiau nei kokie 9. Tiesiog šis įgūdis dabar reiškia beveik nieką. Turbūt vienas paskutinių į kurį reikia investuoti. O jei kas tai daro, tai dažniausiai tik dėl menkos tikimybės, kad šią varikliuko klaidą kažkada ištaisys. O užtektų tik bent truputi geriau veikiančios gynybos... Juk būtent šis pakeitimas panaikino driblingo su perdavimais naudą.

It was tweaked because the amount of steals was unrealistic, but you're right, dribbling became redundand because of this change.
On the other hand nobody seems to mind another unrealistic feature - one of the most common basketball moves never works. I'm talking about the famous "Pick and roll didn't succeed" line :D

Bet toks nerealus veikimas darė reikalingus visus įgūdžius. Dabar paklauskime, kas naudingiau, žaidėjui nuo 7 iki 9 pakelti driblingą, gynybos IQ ar tiesiog kažkurį iš metimų? realiame krepšinyje jau net C pradeda varytis kamuolį kaip gynėjai, o itin mobilūs gynėjai tiesiog būtinybė laiminčiai komandai. Tuo tarpu šitame žaidime verta investuoti tik į atletiškumą, atkovotus kamuolius ir vieną iš trijų metimų. Viskas. Realistiškumo 0. Senas varikliukas turėjo bėdų, bet buvo daugiau nei vienas kelias treniruoti bei laimėti.

Some things are not realistic, for example that it is good if a thrower can only do one throw well. In reality, such a thrower would be much easier to defend than a player who can throw well from different distances.

Grafai, tavo pasakyta problema yra ta pati. Tiesiog Darius nesiklauso ko nori žaidėjai. Jis kažkada kažkokią problemą nusprendė spręsti keldamas žaidėjo pageidaujamą algą. Kainos pakilo. Žmonės supyko. Jis nusprendė ją taisyti įvesdamas išankstinius pratęsimus, šalies bonusus, jaunimo komandas ir t.t. Taip atėjome iki dabartinio negalėjimo įpirkti net savų žaidėjų.
Kažkada taip pat gimė potencialų sistema, kurios pagrindas buvo pagreitinti žaidėjų augimą. Tiesiog nebuvo įsiklausyta į pranešimus apie itin didelę neigiamą įtaką treniruotėms. Vieni įgūdžiai kilo labai greitai, o kiti nekilo iš vis. Tas buvo nuspręsta taisyti įgūdžių šuoliais... Taip atėjome iki žaidėjų ištobulintų tik su keliais įgūdžiais, kuri galiausiai išbalansavo rungtynių varikliuką. Norint subalansuoti pernelyg gerus įgūdžius buvo nuspręsta, kad reikia sumažinti jų reikšmes Kur nuėjo treniruotės? Teisingai, link dar didesnio susitelkimo tik į kelis pagrindinius įgūdžius.

Is it possible to make best 5 of the day and all star game using players in the position they usually play?
If a player has PF position prefered but he always plays as SF he should play all star un SF position and the same with best 5 of the day.
An small change that will be better and I am sure It won't be difficult to make.

Lots of issues with skills and salaries still. I have had very good offense PG's that in the old system would have > 10 assists per game that in the current system get 3 to 4 per game. Some things are truly terrible.
