Had two great centers, so was able to offer the second best for a player in difderent position. Having 2 PF players was also not an option to pay salary to 4 good big guys, with obvious gap in Small forward and Shooting guard. This trade solved lack of smaller guys, as well as gives flexibility for next year budgeting. -- 88 S 21 d.

I took on salary and gave up the best player in order to get 2 guys with more potential for future seasons. I might have taken on too much salary with the center but was looking for a young big with potential for awhile. -- 88 S 21 d.
