We’ve received quite a few questions about what happened with HeyHoudini. Normally, we avoid discussing punishments publicly, but since many users are curious, I’ll try to explain the situation.

For quite some time, HeyHoudini’s behavior was toxic. We tried to address it several times, but nothing improved. The situation on Discord didn’t help either.

When his press conference access was blocked, I sent him a message explaining that the ban would be lifted once he started acting like a regular user—not someone just looking to troll and harm. Instead of going that route, he found a way to bypass the ban and continued posting press messages, even highlighting the ban date to make it seem like he was unfairly punished.

That was the final straw, and we decided we could no longer offer him our services. Over the last few seasons, a huge amount of our resources was wasted dealing with his behavior—we want to focus on improving the game, not just trying to calm down one angry person.

We’ve also learned a lot from this. One key lesson: time alone doesn’t fix these issues. Moving forward, we won’t be as patient with toxic behavior.
I understand that HeyHoudini has many supporters, but please keep trolling out of the game.

As for the Discord server, we’re working on setting up a new one and hope to have it ready soon.

Could I just ask, is there a platform to express any thoughts that are different than game administration? Or if I think you guys doing something wrong/unfair regarding to our Lithuania community we just have to live with that silently?
By the way, if you are willing to delete all the comments after your press conference post, how is that called press conference at all?

Well, first of all, keep your trolls out of here.
In deleting Dragiux's message, there was nothing useful. He was just trolling as always. And as I explained – from now on, we will deal with this kind of behavior sooner.

Regarding criticism and comments, the best way to provide feedback is by sending a message to the administration.
Especially if you explain what is wrong, why it's wrong, and what your suggestion is.

In Discord, we will also have a suggestions section where you can write your suggestions.

I agree with the comment above—there should absolutely be an open line of communication between the community and the admin team that allows for fair, constructive criticism and sharing of concerns. But that space also needs to remain free of trolling and toxicity to actually be productive. -- 104 Sz 19 n.

Also thanks for sharing and bringing light to the situation Darius, as it is better to have everyones perspective when it comes to these things. -- 104 Sz 19 n.

Darius, what are your plans for improving Basketpulse over the next 5 seasons? -- 104 Sz 19 n.

Well, I can promise you that we will have a new Discord server!
Probably a few more "old game" pages will be remade into the new version, a new registration flow (we added some screens on the BasketPulse Facebook), and a few match engine updates regarding skills and tactics balancing.

I hope we will have the players/coaches traits feature in 5 seasons. But honestly, I expected to have it by now. That depends not only on what we want to have but also on our resources and other unexpected activities in the game. So no promises here.

When I watch live games I see this box for last 30+ seasons "Chats are limited due to the load of the server."
15 seasons ago the game was moved to a new server. Was the money paid for that new server was refunded for administration since nothing has changed after? Can you delete this message box if you don't have any plans to bring this feature back?

We don't plan to bring it back; that version was poorly designed, and even on better servers, it won't work efficiently.
We need to create a new feature, but it's not on our priority list, so I don’t think we will work on this soon.

If you believe this should be a priority, please let us know in the seasonal feedback we ask each federation for.

Regarding your suggestion to remove that box, I completely agree. Thank you for reminding us. It should be removed starting today.

Good idea to remove that box. If chats were active, people would mostly whine about ME when losing, so no point of bringing chat.
Instead of this you should think about possibility to lock events box.
For me it’s annoying when I watch match live and try to scroll up to check earlier events, and the box automatically brings me down after new event occurred. So conclusion is that you cannot check events from beginning of quarter on the middle of it as it’s automatically dragging it down :/

The LIVE match page might be older than some team owners here :) This is one of the things we need to completely rewrite (not improve).

By the way, regarding live chat—it wasn't so bad. It was a chat between teams watching a specific match, so sometimes it was fun to chat with your opponent. And honestly, it's not a very big update... but it simply doesn't bring much value to the game, which is why we don't prioritize it.
