We would like to discuss the latest community news, updates in FPC and the plans for season 93.

Champions

World League 1.1

The title of the strongest team in the game has remained in China - Minnesota Timberwolves has prevailed in a nail-biting series against Dresden Hunters where no team won by more than 4 points. 史塔克 has won the top league for the first time and RaZeev got his first silver medal, congratulations! The bronze medals have gone to King Murza 89 who has swept Hong Kong Monarch, well done.

World Cup

China has continued its dominance in the game and won the World Cup for the 13th time by cruising past Argentina in the final. After losing the semi-final to Argentina, Lithuania has recovered in the bronze medal game, crushing Taiwan by 20 points. Taiwan has reached TOP4 for the first time ever, good job!

U18 World Cup

Lithuania has won the U18 World Cup for the ninth time after coming back to the game in the last quarter and winning by three points against China, well done! Taiwan made key free-throws in the end of the game and won the bronze match by a single point against Italy. That was close!

Season 92 Updates

• The migration to the new server took longer than expected, so all the other planned updates were postponed.

• We have updated the design of the page for establishing a Youth team. For teams that are not yet able to establish a Youth team, the page will display the requirements and what is still missing.

Community News 

New language

• New language has been added to the game, Macedonian. This update was made possible thanks to emiliano2022, who was added to the country Hall of Fame. BasketPulse values our community and appreciates contributions from the members.

FPC news

• Taiwan has become the second biggest community in the game and has gained the second position in FPC. 

• To ensure that only active communities participate in the FPC, a minimal threshold of 30 active daily users has been implemented. 

• This means that smaller communities such as Great Britain, Turkey, and Latvia have lost their FPC spots. 

We appreciate their help and hope they will continue to grow their communities. In the upcoming seasons, the minimum threshold might be increased.

Most Popular Country Competition

• Most Popular Country Competition (MPCC) this season has been won by China with Poland coming just a few points away. 

  • Both communities have managed to bring their weekly active active users by more than 10%, as well as increasing the new registrations number. 

  • In total, six federations (France, Italy, USA, Latvia) have been rewarded with a total of 58.000 credits. 

  • On top of that, China has won a 5% scouting bonus reward for season 93.

• We have distributed 33.000 credits in our Facebook competitions and we have seen that they excite the community a lot. The biggest prize (20.000 credits) has been won by the Polish federation that has provided 6(!) logos for the new federation logo competition. Great effort! 

  • On top of that, the polish community will enjoy a 5% scouting bonus starting Season 93. 

  • On the other hand, the 15% scouting bonus has been removed for the Taiwanese players as the federation has been less active this season.

• Starting next season we will shift to using competitions on Facebook and Instagram from MPCC as they are more engaging.

• We plan to do some give-aways for guessing the results of the most exciting games and the bigger rewards will be awarded to the tasks requiring more team-effort.

Season 93 plans

• We will update the bonus system in the market on the first day of the 93rd season:

  • The current team's bonus will be increased, while the country bonus will be decreased. 

  • The maximum bonus limit will be calculated for all bonuses together, unlike the previous limit that was only applied to the country bonus.

• We will continue working on improving the match engine and coaches' system (https://www.basketpulse.com/lt/PremiumFeatures-investavimoSritis-9.htm).

• Premium prices will be updated this season. We have planned to update the pricing in day 30 of season 30 but due to the migration of the server the change has been postponed to the season 93 (https://www.basketpulse.com/en/News/article/6404c5ac41d2d/91-ojo-sezono-apzvalga).  

• Furthermore, we are going to update more old-design pages and increase the current team bonus while decreasing the country bonus in the market some more.
