LEGENDARY GILAS PILIPINAS upsets New Lakers on game 2 of battle for 5th place 80 : 57 in the Pilipinas League 1.1.
MVP of the match is Telmo Salero finishing the game with 22 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, on 8/11 shooting from the field. Vilhelmas Butvydas finished with 18 points, while Joshua Ruò finished the game with 13 points.
New Lakers leading scorer is Nemie Pages with 12 points on poor shooting FG%. L.G. PHI adjustments helped them to took the W, but the main factor why New Lakers lose the game is fatigue factor. Most of their players are exhausted and because of tiredness they shot poor from the field.
While GILAS PILIPINAS players are well prepared and did not experience tiredness for the whole match because of balanced minutes. L.G. PHI also converted 80% of their free throws (16/20) and 10/25 from deep (40%) to win game 2.
