I distinctly remember FPC saying many times that salary drops are against the rules. If you need to fire a player, you fire him. Against the rules to trade him as a salary drop.

That's just not true!
From the game manual:
"As their salaries are smaller than similar players’ salaries in the market, drafts’ players can not be traded during their first 2 seasons contract. "

The "Help" manual is not perfect, and is different from the rules.

Where is that we can read the rules we are playing with?
Who wrote them? Admin or FPC?
When were they changed? Overnight, by FPC?

The logic is that Rules are written black and white, in the manual. It does not mean the other parts of the manual are perfect. We can encourage the Admin to update, and also the game itself is still updating so fast, that everyone here is still adapting to the new engine consistently. -- 89 S 24 T.
